Back of the Net! Eclipse Magnetics Scores Over £300 for Alzheimer's Society
The World Cup delivered its fair share of drama, but there was plenty to celebrate at Eclipse Magnetics, as employees teamed up to raise almost £350 for Alzheimer's Society during a week of football-themed fundraising.
The company's football fundraiser brought employees together for a series of fun events, all in support of a charity that provides vital support to people living with dementia and their families.
Rachael Berry, Commercial Director at Eclipse Magnetics said: "It was fantastic to see so many people getting involved throughout the week. From baking and football challenges to wearing team colours, everyone played their part in making the fundraiser such a success. We'd like to thank everyone who donated and took part in helping us support such an important cause."
The week started with a bake sale, with plenty of homemade cakes and sweet treats on offer. Colleagues also got involved in a bit of friendly rivalry and lots of laughs as they took on a range of football-themed games and competitions.
To finish the week, staff wore the colours of their favourite clubs and countries, before getting together for a plant-based BBQ and a well-earned lunch.
Thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of employees across the business, Eclipse Magnetics raised an impressive £349.50, with every pound going towards helping Alzheimer's Society continue its essential work funding research, campaigning for better support, and providing advice to those affected by dementia.
The week highlights Eclipse Magnetics' ongoing commitment to supporting charitable initiatives and bringing colleagues together through community-focused events. And, while the football may be over for another tournament, this team can proudly say they finished with a result worth celebrating.
